This jukebox musical, premiering at 'The Old Vic', London in 2017, has run every year since all across the world from Australia to a home coming show in Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Taking place during the Great Depression, this is a tale about pereseverence, community and connection. It's vast and varied cast struggle with all manner of life difficulties which are only exacerbated with the arrival of a storm, Marlowe (a bible salesmean) and Joe Scott (a down-on-his-luck boxer).
The first boradway run of 'Girl from the North Country' was shut down after just one week due to the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The initial production was even nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for 'Best New Musical'!
