Reimagining over twenty spectacular hits by the legendary musician Bob Dylan, 'Girl from North Country' (12A) sees a ramshackle cast of odd-ball characters forced under the same guesthouse roof!
This jukebox musical, premiering at 'The Old Vic', London in 2017, has run every year since all across the world from Australia to a home coming show in Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Taking place during the Great Depression, this is a tale about pereseverence, community and connection. It's vast and varied cast struggle with all manner of life difficulties which are only exacerbated with the arrival of a storm, Marlowe (a bible salesmean) and Joe Scott (a down-on-his-luck boxer).
The first boradway run of 'Girl from the North Country' was shut down after just one week due to the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The initial production was even nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for 'Best New Musical'!
