Time: 10am to 3pm
Date: Sunday 19th June
Venue: Ely Market Square
Join us for a day of art-making in Ely. The challenge is to sketch, paint or photograph your favourite part of the city. You can be a complete beginner, an experienced artist, or anything in between. All ages welcome.
Ways to get involved:
⦁ CREATE A PICTURE OF ELY
On Sunday 19 June bring along your art supplies, camera or any materials that you’d like to use. Start the challenge by visiting the Ely Arts Festival stand on Ely Market and collect your #PictureEly sticker. Then it’s time to get creative by drawing, painting or photographing. When you’ve finished your creation please share an image on any social media channel using the hashtag #PictureEly. Alternatively you can bring your work back to the Festival stand to be photographed and uploaded on your behalf. All artwork submitted on the day will become part of an online gallery.

⦁ TAKE PART IN OUR DROP-IN ACTIVITY
Visit the Ely Arts Festival stand at Ely Market on Sunday 19 June to have a go at our drop-in arts activity. No need to book, just turn up and take part.
⦁ WATCH THE ACTION
Across the city people will be capturing Ely through their own creations. Why not see what they’re up to and give them some words of encouragement?
If you’d like to share your thoughts, images and experience of the day on social media don’t forget to add the hashtag #PictureEly.
If you have any questions or would benefit for further support in order to take part, please get in touch at info@elyartsfestival.org.
