The SEAW is one of only a few arts societies in the UK that focus only on watercolour, an exciting, and sometimes challenging, medium. All of the watercolour artworks will be for sale, presenting a great opportunity for visitors to the exhibition to buy original art. The huge range of cards for sale are all prints of the artists’ work and are usually very popular with visitors. There will be a very wide range of work including landscapes, seascapes, the natural environment, portraits and abstracts.
Throughout the exhibition there will be an opportunity to meet artists in the gallery who will be pleased to talk about their work, show their sketchbooks and share their ways of working. Details can be found on the SEAW website.
The Waterways Exhibition will run from Wednesday 6 th September until Sunday 1 st October 12noon – 4pm daily. The gallery is closed on Mondays.
