Market Place, a Creative People and Places project, has been running in Fenland and Forest Heath since 2015, making connections with local communities in the seven market towns of Brandon, Chatteris, March, Mildenhall, Newmarket, Whittlesey and Wisbech.
Phase One of the project happened from 2015 to October 2018. During this time we got to know people across the seven towns, worked with artists and creative practitioners across the area, and collaborated on and enjoyed great arts events and activities with local communities. This videos shows some of what we got up to over the summer.
We’re starting Phase Two which runs from 2018 – 2021. We’ll be carrying on the creative conversations that are already happening, offering support for artists and creative practitioners in the areas, encouraging local people to get involved with decisions about what great arts, culture and creative activities can happen where they live, sometimes in unexpected places!
We’re developing our website to make it easier to see what we’re getting up to and to find out about creative things going on in Fenland and Forest Heath.
Whilst we get Phase Two up and running, do sign-up to receive our newsletters so that you can keep up to date with what’s going on. Sign-up on the CPP Market Place Homepage.
Market Place is delivered by a project team employed by Babylon ARTS, who are the lead partner for the project.
