The Skills Builder Impact Report 2021 has launched, celebrating the achievements and collective impact of all of us partners. This year, 725 partners took us over 1.4 million opportunities closer to that goal.
We are proud to be working with Skills Builder on our Creative Briefs programme, an 8 week course that supported 138 students across 6 schools to help develop their skills and experience real-life encounters with local professionals. Working with Skills builder gave us the oppurtunity to see that the students who took park showed improvements on essentail skills such as 'Aiming High' , 'Creativity' and an 85% improvement in the 'Problem solving' essentail skill.
Due to the pandemic, the work we have been doing as part of the Skills Builder Partnership to suport students in their essential skills has never been more important. Research has shown that boosting essentail skills is correlated with better school performance, higher self-efficacy and career ambitions.
