This webcast in the Creating The Future series focuses on:

  • Miranda Stearn – Head of Learning, The Fitzwilliam Museum
  • Kate Marsh – Independent dance artist, various organisations
  • John Cockley – Co-founder, Handsome Frank Illustration
  • Adam Clark – Designer, Minecraft

We get to speak to them all during the panel discussion about their careers and also spend time with them individually to ask them about the ins and out of their jobs and their career paths.

This Creating The Future series, focusing on interviews and features with professionals in particular artforms, are designed to inspire students and help young people gain insight into creative career options.

The films are aimed at Year 10 and upwards, including sixth-form and further education as they can support careers advice in schools and colleges. However we expect a  younger audience can still gain lots from the films; for example, students working towards Silver or Gold Arts Awards might find these films a useful means of researching and responding to the work and career pathways of creative practitioners.

We hope you find these useful and can make the most of them!

This work has been made possible with funding and partnership support from: East Cambridgeshire and Fenland Opportunity Area, Take Your Place (NEACO), Cambridgeshire County Council, Anglia Ruskin University, University Centre Peterborough, The Skills Service, Arts Council England, Babylon Arts, and Music Education Hubs.
