A new Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) is being formed in East Cambridgeshire to champion, support and inform children and young people’s cultural education in the district. Currently the following schools and organisations are part of the LCEP Steering Group:
Plus representatives from the local authorities.
Between April and July 2021 we carried out a consulation to find out what children and young people, their parents and teachers wanted to see and experience in terms of culture, heritage and the arts in East Cambridgeshire. We also consulted with a range of cultural organisations across the District. This work was carried out by Pippa Smith and Lawrence Becko.
The findings have informed our new Strategic Action Plan which sets out our priorities and how we want to achieve them over the next 3 to 5 years.
