Fitzwilliam Museum gallery and studio sessions cover ancient civilisations, medieval lives, creative writing and art skills for all students: from early years to KS5.

Bring your subject to life with our cross-curricular, active and engaging gallery and studio sessions taught within our extraordinary collections. Come up close to an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus, study the brush strokes on a painting by Monet or explore line, pattern and shapes through the amazing architecture and sculpture: whatever your topic you are sure to find something to excite and inspire your pupils, from Early Years to Key Stage 5.

We have a huge range of different sessions available, from Ancient Greeks, to the Tudors, to specific sessions tailored to the GCSE, BTEC and A Level Art themes.

Use our search function to find the right session for you here: https://www.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/learning/schools?page=1 then contact The Fitzwilliam on 01223 332904 or education@fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk to book, or to discuss your needs.

Most sessions are free (charges apply for studio workshops) and travel bursaries are available for schools meeting our criteria.

The Fitzwilliam are currently accepting bookings for Spring and Summer Terms 2020.
