Cambridge Junction is the arts centre where art, technology and life meet – a creative hub for people and ideas where audiences and artists explore, experience and are inspired by art, entertainment and learning.

Cambridge Junction’s Creative Learning programme inspires and nurtures creativity, especially in young people aged 11 to 21 – enabling us to cultivate creative, compassionate and innovative thinkers as well as provide pathways into employment in the creative and cultural industries.

Junction Young Company is an advanced training programme for committed performers aged 14 to 21 that provides an opportunity to work with innovative directors, theatre companies and visiting artists. The Company will develop skills in a wide variety of theatrical conventions and styles, culminating in an innovative public performance on the J2 stage.

The company will meet Mondays, 6 – 8pm from September – April. In the lead up to the performances, there will be some intensive rehearsals during school holidays in Term Two.

Further information, including the registration form, can be found here - https://www.junction.co.uk/creative-learning/junction-young-company.

Please note that we will only accept applications until the end of January 2020 as the ensemble will begin to devise their new show for the April performance. Applications will then open again in May, with the new term starting in September 2020.
