Innovation was a project funded by Youth Music. For this project Babylon ARTS worked with the Garage in Norwich to innovate, test and embed music events in Ely. The project was run by, for and with young people.
As part of the project, the Babylon ARTS Crew staged a series of shows until March 2016. Three of these were at the Maltings and three at the newly refurbished Babylon Gallery.
The first show was held at the Ely Maltings on Friday 6th November 2015 and featured performances from Will Law, The Famous Living Dead, Krusty Whiskas, Josh Aitkin and Last Place Heroes. The second show took place at the Babylon Gallery on Friday 18th December 2015. The project returned to Ely Maltings with a new lineup on Wednesday 20th January 2016, and again at Babylon ARTS on Friday 19th February 2016, featuring special guest James Scarle.
